Measure your wrist first

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper and wrap it around your wrist where the watch sits, just above the wrist bone.
  2. Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it.
  3. Put that number in the notes when you order, and say "snug", "normal" or "loose".

If you don't have a measurement, count how many links you think need to come out. The watch should slide about a finger's width on your wrist when it's right.

Price and process

$20 per watch, plus $5 for the prepaid USPS label covering the whole box. Order on the order form and choose "Link Adjustment". You get the label by email with a QR code for the Post Office counter if you have no printer. See how mail-in repair works for packing tips.

We take links out evenly from both sides of the clasp where the bracelet allows it, so the clasp stays centered under your wrist.

Common questions

How much does watch link removal cost?

$20 per watch plus $5 for the prepaid USPS label to send it in.

How do you know how many links to take out?

Tell us your wrist size in the notes. The easiest way is to wrap a strip of paper around your wrist where you wear the watch, mark it, and measure the strip in inches or millimeters. Also say whether you like it snug or loose.

Do I get the extra links back?

Yes. Removed links and pins go back to you in the box with the watch so a jeweler can add them later.

Can you add links?

Only if you send the extra links with the watch. Most brands sell spare links through their service centers, and they have to match the exact bracelet.

Sending a watch for a battery too? Choose one service per order, or call 800-591-0881 and we'll set it up as one shipment.
