How mail-in watch repair works
No watch shop nearby, or the mall kiosk wants to keep your watch for a week? Mailing it in takes about fifteen minutes of your time.
1. Order online
Go to the order form, choose battery replacement or link adjustment ($20 per watch), enter how many watches and your address, and pay by card. For other repairs, describe the problem and the form gives you a rough estimate. Then call us to go ahead.
2. Get your prepaid label
The $5 label covers the whole box. It comes by email (and by text, if you gave a phone number) a minute or two after you pay. No printer? The email has a QR code. Show it at any USPS Post Office counter and they print the label for you.
3. Pack the watch
- Wrap each watch in tissue or put it in a small zip bag.
- Use a small box if you have one. A padded envelope works for one watch.
- Fill empty space with paper or bubble wrap so nothing moves when you shake it.
- Put a slip of paper inside with your order number, your name and anything we should know ("runs fast", "remove 2 links").
- Leave the original box, papers and spare parts at home.
4. Ship it
Drop the package at any Post Office or hand it to your mail carrier. The label has tracking, so you can see when we receive it.
5. We do the work and ship it back
We email you when the watch arrives. Batteries and link adjustments are done within 1–2 business days. If we find something else wrong, we stop and contact you first. When it's done, it goes back to you by USPS with tracking.
Common questions
Is it safe to mail a watch?
For most watches, yes, if it is packed so it can't move. USPS Ground Advantage includes tracking. For a valuable watch, call us first and consider declaring extra insurance with your carrier.
Should I include the box and papers?
No. Send only the watch. Keep the box, papers and any extra links at home unless we ask for them.
What if the watch needs more than I ordered?
We stop and contact you with a price. Nothing extra is done or charged unless you say yes.
